About Us

20+ years of field and construction experience restoring homes and businesses across Eastern Ontario

A locally-owned, IICRC-certified restoration team built to handle the worst day of your year — calmly, professionally, and with paperwork your insurer can actually use.

24/7 Remedial Services is a Kingston-based emergency restoration company serving residential, commercial, and multi-unit properties across Eastern Ontario. We were founded by senior restoration technicians who spent more than two decades inside national franchise operations — and who wanted to deliver the same calibre of work without the franchise overhead, the call-centre routing, and the boilerplate that frustrates both homeowners and adjusters.

Every project we run is led by an IICRC-certified technician using calibrated thermo-hygrometers, pinless and pin-style moisture meters, LGR dehumidifiers, HEPA negative-air machines, and commercial extraction equipment. We follow IICRC S500 for water losses, S520 for mould remediation, and S700 for fire and smoke restoration — the same standards the insurance industry expects when reviewing a claim.

We're small enough that the person you speak to on the phone is connected to the crew chief at your property. We're large enough to deploy multiple crews on a single loss when a multi-family building, restaurant, or commercial floor needs to be mitigated in parallel. And we're local enough that our equipment trucks are dispatched from Kingston — reaching most addresses in the city within the hour and serving Napanee, Brockville, Gananoque, Picton, Smiths Falls, Prescott, Perth, and Carleton Place day, night, weekends, and holidays.

Our work starts the moment we pick up the phone. Within minutes of dispatch, you'll have a coordinator confirming scope, an ETA you can plan around, and a clear explanation of what happens between mitigation and reconstruction. We do not subcontract the first 72 hours — the most critical window — to anyone outside our certified team.

We are fully operational and dispatching crews 24/7/365 across Kingston and Eastern Ontario. Call (855) 3247-FLOOD or reach out via the form — a coordinator will respond promptly to confirm availability and ETA for your project.

Our certifications

IICRC-aligned from first response to final invoice

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) sets the technical standards Canadian insurers expect on every loss. Our certifications cover the full restoration lifecycle — categorizing a water loss correctly, containing mould without cross-contaminating clean areas, neutralizing acidic smoke residues before they etch into finishes, and documenting subrogation evidence the way carriers need it.

  • IICRC FSRT — Fire & Smoke Restoration
  • IICRC AMRT — Applied Microbial (Mould) Remediation

Frequently asked questions

How long has 24/7 Remedial Services been operating?

Our founding technicians have more than 20 years of combined hands-on restoration experience in Eastern Ontario, working on residential losses, commercial buildings, multi-unit properties, and major insurance claims. We've now consolidated that experience into a single locally-owned team serving Kingston and the surrounding communities.

Are your technicians IICRC certified?

Yes. Every lead technician holds IICRC certifications including Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT), Applied Microbial Remediation (AMRT), and Subrogation & Insurance Claims. These certifications align our protocols with IICRC S500, S520, and S700 standards.

Do you work directly with insurance companies?

Yes. We document every job using Xactimate, the estimating platform adjusters use across Canada. Daily moisture logs, time-stamped photographs, line-item scopes, and chain-of-custody for contents are delivered to your carrier so claims move quickly and pay fairly.

Which communities do you serve?

We dispatch from Kingston and respond throughout Eastern Ontario, including Kingston, Napanee, Brockville, Gananoque, Picton, Smiths Falls, Prescott, Perth, Carleton Place, Odessa, Greater Napanee, Bath, Amherstview, Wolfe Island, Belleville, Trenton. If your community isn't listed, contact us — we frequently support neighbouring areas.

What's the typical response time?

Crews are dispatched 24/7/365. Response within Kingston is typically under one hour; rural areas across Eastern Ontario are reached as quickly as travel allows. Tarps, board-up materials, dehumidifiers, and extraction equipment are always loaded and ready.

Are you currently accepting new restoration projects?

Yes — we are fully operational and actively dispatching crews 24/7/365. Inquiries submitted through our contact form or phone line are received, triaged, and responded to immediately. A restoration coordinator will confirm availability and ETA within minutes.

Working with insurers, not against them

We document every drying log, every photograph, and every line item the way adjusters expect. That's why claims close cleanly and property owners get back to normal faster.
